Yesterday, many of you stepped forward to help us.
Some donated again even though they already support us every month. I saw it, and I am deeply grateful. Every donation mattered.
But yesterday also exposed the real problem.
Let’s Adopt is being kept alive by the same loyal group of people. One-time donations buy us time, but they cannot tell us whether we will be able to pay for food, medication, surgery and veterinary treatment next month.
We have already stopped almost everything that does not directly affect the animals. Maintenance at Casa Grande has been postponed. We spend nothing on advertising. What remains are the essentials, and those cannot be cut without cutting the care the animals receive.
We cannot continue moving from one emergency appeal to another.
We need more people to support Let’s Adopt every month. If you can commit any amount a month, you give us something an emergency donation cannot provide: predictable income and the ability to say yes when the next animal needs us.
