A few days ago, we found Enya, a beautiful German Shepherd wandering alone through the fields around Seville. It was a heartbreaking sight. This sweet dog carried something no one should ever endure: a massive mammary tumor that pulsed and throbbed under our hands.
Someone chose to abandon her rather than help her. Someone decided to turn away when she needed them most. Sadly, it’s a story that repeats itself far too often. But Enya is no longer alone. She’s with us now, and we need your help to save her.
Enya is in our care, and we’ll do everything possible to restore her health. We’ve already completed initial tests: X-rays, an abdominal ultrasound, and blood analyses. The good news is, for now, there appears to be no metastasis. But the urgency is clear. The sooner we perform surgery, the better her chances of recovery.
