In today’s video I want to show you something different.
Not a dramatic rescue.
Not a life-or-death surgery.
But what our work truly looks like every single day.
When you watch our videos, you usually see the big moments: the rush to the hospital, the transfusions, the operations, the recoveries, and finally the trip home.
But behind all of that, there is another reality. A slower one. A quieter one.
The part of rescue that keeps everything together.
Today you will see Hope, who has been with us for 14 years, going for her routine check-up in her wheelchair.
You will see the sterilization of a female dog who is finally safe.
You will see the health check of a very old dog we just rescued.
These small procedures are the backbone of Let’s Adopt. They are the reason our animals survive.
They are not spectacular.
They don’t go viral.
But they are essential.
And this is where we face a problem.
All these procedures, all these everyday actions, are part of our enormous vet bill.
Until we clear it, we cannot take in more animals.
This morning we had to reject a case—a dog with a terrible leg injury—because we simply cannot afford to say yes right now.
And saying no is the hardest part of this job.
We must fix this.
We must get back to rescuing.
We must keep these animals alive.
