I just got a call from Carla. She found a little cat in desperate shape, barely two kilos, skin and bones, with terrible wounds on her head. We’re calling her Whoopi.
Whoopi’s injury isn’t small—it’s severe. She has two deep wounds on her head, so severe that one goes all the way down to her skull. Our vet believes she suffered some kind of trauma, maybe an intentional blow. She’s dehydrated, covered in parasites, and her immune system is struggling to cope. Despite all of this, she is incredibly sweet, trying to rub her head against us for comfort.
Right now, Whoopi urgently needs:
• Immediate hospitalization and IV fluids
• Antibiotics and pain relief
• A CT scan to see if there’s brain damage
This is why we’re here—to show animals like Whoopi that their lives matter, that someone cares enough to help when everything seems hopeless.
