Liska is not a normal dog.
She is short, round, stubborn, hilarious and completely unforgettable. We call her Kung Fu Panda because there is no better way to describe her.
Liska came to us when her family could no longer care for her. This was not abuse. It was a human situation that had become impossible: illness, Alzheimer’s, and a dog with nowhere safe to go.
So we brought her into Let’s Adopt.
Since then, Liska has shown us exactly who she is: strange, charming, impossible to predict and an expert escape artist.
But now we have found something serious.
Liska has five mammary tumors: three on one side and two on the other. There are no visible tumors in other organs, but these tumors need to be removed before they grow or spread.
Before surgery, we are running bloodwork and testing for Leishmaniasis and Ehrlichia so we can operate safely.
