Magic came to us with both eyes destroyed. Alaska has arrived with one eye already beyond saving. It will have to be removed. The other is still clear, still shining… and that is what makes her case so heartbreaking.
When you look at Alaska, you see half a face that is perfect, hopeful, alive. And then you see the other half, ravaged by infection, scarred by viruses that should never have been allowed to take hold.
Why Alaska Needs You
Alaska is in the hospital now. She is weak, dehydrated, in urgent need of care. Surgery is coming. Not just for her, but for her brother too. Between them, three eyes must be removed. Three lives depending on the generosity of strangers who choose to care.
It is not easy work. It is costly, complex, and at times it feels like fighting against an endless tide. But then you look at Alaska, and you realize why we cannot stop.
An Invitation
Is it worth $10, or $20, to save a kitten’s life?
I will not try to persuade you with logic. If you need convincing, then perhaps this is not the place for you. But if you feel what I feel when you look at Alaska l, if you believe every fragile life deserves a chance, then I invite you to act.
Please donate today. Help us save Alaska.
Without you, there is nothing. With you, there is hope.
Thank you!
