He was found wandering through the streets of Seville, alone, disoriented and stumbling.
When he reached us, we understood immediately that there was no time to lose.
Miki has two tumors in the chest area. One of them is close to the heart. His body is weak, his general condition is critical, and he is now in the intensive care unit of what we consider today to be the best hospital in the country.
There are 93 people in that hospital. And leading the whole medical team is our dear friend, Jorge Llinás.
We promise you this: we are going to do everything we can to save him.
But this is a very difficult case.
He will need intensive care, bloodwork, imaging, medication, constant monitoring and, if the veterinary team believes there is a real option, surgery.
It is incomprehensible that a dog could reach this condition. It is incomprehensible that he had to walk through the streets with something so visible, so advanced, so impossible to ignore.
Now the fight begins.
