Help us ease Carla’s pain

Carla woke up trembling. She wouldn’t eat, and walking hurt. After caring for her every day at Casa Grande, seeing her like this was deeply worrying.

We took her for a CT scan. The images showed a badly damaged hip and possible pressure on a nerve. We are still waiting for the final report, but her pain needed immediate treatment.

After the tests, we left her in hospital. We stroked her and settled her in gently, trying not to hurt her as we moved her. It is hard to say goodbye and leave her there, even when you know it is where she needs to be.

Carla is an older dog with such a gentle nature. We want her to be able to rest peacefully and move comfortably again. For now, the priority is to control her pain and see how she responds to treatment.

We need help to pay for her CT scan, anaesthesia, hospital stay and medication. We got her the care she needed. To keep caring for her, we need your support.
