He Looks Fragile But He Wants To Live

I want to share an update on Snowflake, a beautiful cat who came to us in terrible condition. He had multiple fractures in his head, a broken jaw, and a shattered palate. There is a hole at the back of his mouth, which means that when he eats, food passes through to his nasal cavity, causing painful infections.

To make things worse, when we rescued him, his body was covered in fungus. The infection has been slowly improving, but his recovery has been difficult.

The first thing we did was make sure he could eat. We placed a feeding tube through his nose into his stomach, and that has helped him survive and regain some strength. But for him to fully recover, he needs to eat solid food, and that will not be possible until the hole in his palate is repaired.

That is why we are now preparing him for surgery. It is the next vital step in his healing process.

He still looks fragile, but every day he is stronger. His infection is healing, his spirit is unbroken, and he continues to fight with everything he has.

Tomorrow I will share the details of his surgery and begin a fundraiser to help him. But if you wish to lend your support today, please do.

Your help means everything. Please, donate and help us save Snowflake.
