At Let’s Adopt, we are different. We only rescue animals in extreme conditions, and when one of them faces new problems later, they remain our responsibility.
These dogs are our lives.
And today, one of them needs us again.
His name is Eros.
Eros was rescued last year after being found on the streets as a puppy. He couldn’t pee. A vet made a terrible mistake by inserting a catheter that was too large, destroying his urinary system.
We stepped in, brought in Dr. Jorge Llinás, and rebuilt his urinary tract. It was a miracle. He survived.
That was last year. Two days ago, I got another call. Eros was sick again. He was bleeding, in pain, and unable to pee.
At the hospital, we discovered something terrible: his bladder is full of stones, large crystal-like marbles. They are oxalate stones, caused by a metabolic problem. His bladder can no longer function.
He needs surgery now.
Eros is stable, but time is critical. We must operate to remove the stones and save his life.
Please, if you can, donate today to help us perform Eros’s surgery and relieve his pain. Help us give him another chance at life.
