Last week, we introduced you to Gollum, an incredible dog with a very tough story. He was initially rescued by a local shelter, Protectora Fido, but unfortunately, they quickly abandoned him, leaving full responsibility to a foster home unable to afford his costly surgery.
We stepped in to help, and last Friday, Gollum successfully underwent surgery. Today, we want to share an update on Gollum’s current condition: his release from the hospital and his new life in the Great House.
Gollum is currently in rehabilitation and ongoing treatment, making steady progress towards a pain-free life. In a couple of months, he’ll undergo another surgery on his other leg.
It’s essential that our community continues to stand by Gollum, offering the support and affection that Protectora Fido denied him. Please, we ask that you continue supporting him. Gollum is a wonderful dog who deserves the very best.
