Help Daphne

Daphne was lying on the ground, painfully thin, with sores on her skin. There was blood on the tiles where she lived. In one photograph, she is curled up against a door, looking at us. It is hard to look at that image and imagine how long she may have spent like that, without the care she needed.
We got her out and took her to the hospital.
We estimate she is between eight and ten years old. Daphne wants to eat and tries to move, but she loses her balance and trembles when she reaches for food. Watching her struggle with something so simple is worrying. We need to understand what is happening to her so we can help.
Her neurologist has recommended a genetic test. We don’t yet have a confirmed diagnosis, and we don’t know how her recovery will unfold. While we search for answers, she needs us to tend to her wounds, help her eat, and give her the daily care she needs.
She is no longer lying on that floor. She now has people looking after her, but continuing her care and carrying out the necessary tests comes at a cost we cannot cover without your help.
Please donate for Daphne. Your contribution will help pay for her veterinary care as we work with her medical team to decide the next steps. After everything she has been through, we want her days to be filled with good food, rest, companionship, and relief from discomfort.
Thank you for helping us give her that chance.
