Choco is at a veterinary clinic with a broken leg. After an accident, his owner asked for euthanasia instead of treatment.
The vet couldn’t do it and called us.
Choco is not an old case.
He is in the hospital today, waiting for a surgery that can save his leg.
A few days ago we said we were going to be careful about how we ask for help, and we still mean that. But we also said something very clearly: when there is a real emergency, we will not look away.
This is one of those moments.
We are a rescue organization. When there is a surgery to pay for, someone has to take responsibility. And that someone is us… together with this community.
Choco is young, strong, and social.
With the right surgery and proper recovery, he can walk again and live a normal life.
We don’t force anyone to help.
