Choco is doing very well.
Just a few days ago he came out of surgery, and today we see him strong, full of energy, with that joy he shows when he feels safe. Seeing him like this brings relief. It reminds us why we do this.
In today’s video we’re also celebrating something special. Maribel has turned 40. I’ve known her for almost 20 years. We’ve grown within this project while dogs passed through our hands, one after another, each with their own story.
Time moves forward. Cases change. The needs don’t disappear.
Surgeries like Choco’s, check-ups like those for Alaska, Magic, Fideo and Lulu, the daily follow-up… all of this requires steady resources. It’s not something occasional. It’s an ongoing commitment.
