As we promised, we took Prince into surgery, and it went beautifully.
The operation was long and complex. The veterinary team worked with incredible care to close the huge wound on his back. They used a skin flap from his armpit area to cover the exposed muscle, carefully placing more than a hundred stitches.
Prince is now recovering well. He will stay at the hospital for a few days under observation and is already receiving laser therapy to support healing. Soon, he will return to The Great House to continue his recovery surrounded by love and care.
He has been through so much, yet he continues to fight with strength and calm. Seeing him alive and on the path to full recovery reminds us why we never give up.
