We rescued him. Thanks to you, Kiko began treatment in the hospital.
One Week Later
Kiko is stronger. He eats with appetite, wags his tail, and shows us he wants to live. But his tests are alarming: leishmaniasis levels three times the normal limit, eye ulcers, almost no tear production, and fragile paws affected by the disease.
The ophthalmologist has prescribed artificial tears and medication to stabilise him, postponing surgery for now. He is staying with Maribel while returning to the clinic for check-ups and treatment.
Kiko Still Needs You
Kiko’s care is long, delicate, and costly. Every medication, every test, and every visit is only possible because of your support.
