Let’s Adopt International rescues dogs and cats with severe injuries and complex medical conditions, providing access to veterinary treatment, recovery care and suitable adoptive homes. Animals who need lifelong support remain in our care.
Let’s Adopt International was founded in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2008 by Viktor Larkhill and is registered in the Netherlands. Its rescue and animal care operations are based in Valencia, Spain, where Viktor has led the organisation’s work since 2012.
An international community of supporters helps fund the treatment and daily care that each rescue requires.
The history of the original Let’s Adopt network should be distinguished from the current organisation. Historical or independently operated groups using similar names are not, by that name alone, branches of Let’s Adopt International.

Viktor Larkhill
Viktor Larkhill is an animal rescuer and the founder and director of Let’s Adopt International. His legal name is Iván Jiménez Chacón. He has used the public name Viktor Larkhill since his years in Turkey.
Based in Valencia, Spain, he coordinates rescues, secures resources for complex veterinary treatment and oversees the care that follows. He remains personally involved in adoptions and works alongside the veterinary professionals responsible for each animal’s clinical care.
Through YouTube and the organisation’s publications, he documents the animals’ progress, including complications and losses, connecting supporters with the work they help sustain.
