Sebastian Is Walking Again

Last night, Sebastián went into surgery with a severe and unstable spinal fracture. The risk was very real: any further movement could damage his spinal cord and leave him permanently paralyzed.

The surgery was delicate, and we did not know how his body would respond.

But this morning, the clinic sent us a video.

Sebastián was standing.

And then he started to walk.

Seeing him take those first steps, only a few hours after surgery, felt almost like a miracle.

Today, he is already back at the Great House. He is tired, needs absolute rest and still faces a long and carefully monitored recovery. But he is with us. He is walking. And he has a real chance of living a normal life again.

We acted immediately because his spinal cord could not wait. Now we need your help to cover the enormous cost of his surgery, hospitalization and recovery.

Please donate today and help us carry Sebastián through this.

Thank you for standing by him.
