Liska was supposed to start chemotherapy today.
But a few days ago, she suddenly became very weak. She stopped eating, stopped drinking and barely moved all weekend. Something was clearly wrong.
Liska has mammary cancer and metastasis in her lungs, but this sudden collapse did not make sense. So we brought her back to the hospital for a CT scan of her chest and head.
Now we are waiting for the results.
At this moment, Liska is too unstable for chemotherapy. First, we need to stabilize her with fluids, antibiotics, glucose and close monitoring.
She is old. She came to us already carrying so many problems. But she is still here. And we are not giving up on her yet.
