India has been a permanent resident at the Great House for more than ten years. She is an incredible little dog, full of life, and a much-loved member of our family. This is her home, and we will continue caring for her here for the rest of her life.
India lives with chronic megaesophagus, a condition that makes it difficult for food to travel normally to her stomach. Every meal needs careful attention: she eats in an upright position, and our team closely monitors her afterwards. Regurgitation can lead to aspiration pneumonia, so any change in her breathing or general condition needs prompt veterinary attention.
Her condition requires daily care, but it does not define her. India is not waiting to be adopted. She already has a home, a familiar routine and people who know exactly what she needs. Supporting our permanent residents helps us provide that continuity, from everyday feeding and supervision to veterinary care when it is needed.
