Yesterday we had to rush Frodo to the hospital.
His condition is very serious.
Frodo has pneumonia, and one of his lungs has collapsed. He is now in intensive care, on oxygen, and under constant treatment. The team is working to stabilize him, ease his breathing, and drain his lungs so he has a real chance to recover.
This is not the first time Frodo has faced something like this. He has fought hard before. Even so, the situation is critical, and the next hours and days will be crucial.
Frodo has been with us for two years. In that time, he has built a beautiful life with us. He is deeply loved, and he matters enormously to all of us.
That is why we are doing everything possible for him now.
Intensive care is never simple, and it comes at a very high cost. Oxygen support, hospitalization, monitoring, medication, imaging, drainage, and round-the-clock veterinary care are all part of what he needs at this moment.
