Snowflake is back at the Great House, resting in his room which is all set up for his recovery. Although we have to avoid direct contact due to ringworm, his gentle nature is amazing; he allows us to care for him with exemplary calm.
After a good night’s rest, we’ve already started his morning eye drops. His eye looks very positive and clean, and he is doing well, proving what a brave little survivor he is.
This surgery was “now or never.” After two previous failed attempts, this was his last chance to save his eyesight. We decided to go for it because we wanted no regrets, and thanks to Saturday’s successful intervention, Snowflake won’t have to live in darkness. We have done everything humanly possible so that this brave cat can continue to see the world.
All of this was possible thanks to your generosity. Every donation was a key part of covering his hospital stay and surgery. If you want to continue helping us in our mission to save lives, you can collaborate with a donation or join our Patreon, where you can also listen to our podcast in advance.
Thank you for standing by Snowflake on this journey. We’ll have more updates for you tomorrow.
