When the police first saw Kiko, they were scared.
He was tiny, furious, and in terrible condition. His eyes were badly damaged. His body was weak. He had clearly suffered for a long time.
But that was never his true nature.
After weeks in the hospital and careful treatment, Kiko revealed who he really is: affectionate, protective, funny, and deeply attached to those around him. He falls in love easily. He follows the girls around the shelter with absolute devotion. He believes in connection.
Now he is ready for a home of his own.
