Super Snowflake: Still Fighting

Snowflake came to us from Granada, barely alive. He had been run over, his skull was fractured, and there was a hole in his palate so large that he couldn’t eat. Everything he tried to swallow went straight into his nose, causing terrible infections.

We couldn’t operate right away because he was too weak. We fed him through a tube until he was strong enough. Then, thanks to my friend Dr. Jorge Llinás, we used a special silicone plug to close the hole temporarily. It worked. Snowflake began to eat and gain weight.

But over the past few days, something has changed. He is losing weight again. His anemia continues, and Jorge believes we may now be facing hyperthyroidism. He is back at the hospital, under constant care, and we are waiting for the latest test results.

He is tired, but he is still fighting. He is still our Super Snowflake.

Please, if you can, help us continue his treatment. Your support is the reason he is still alive.

Please donate. Help us save Snowflake.
