Great news. Yesterday, Snowflake went into surgery, and it went beautifully.
We could not upload the video right away because of a public holiday, but I asked our editor to finish it today so you could see it. Have a look at this. This is Snowflake.
We managed to do something very difficult in a simple and original way. Using a plug designed by Dr. Jorge Llinás, our team successfully closed the hole in his palate. It is not a permanent solution, but it will let him eat again, regain strength, and recover his immune system before a second surgery in the future.
And the best part is that he is eating again, and he loves it.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Snowflake is still at the hospital, receiving treatment for a difficult fungal infection, but this is a huge victory.
