Lulu Deserved Better

This is Lulu. She is one and a half years old. This did not happen overnight.

For months, maybe longer, her coat was never brushed. The hair tightened. It pulled at her skin. It became a prison. Eventually she was dumped in a small village in Seville and left to survive in the rain. She was found soaking wet and exhausted, yet still incredibly gentle.

At the hospital we saw the full extent of the neglect. Her entire body is covered in solid mats that will have to be removed under sedation. She also has damage to one eye, and we are still assessing whether it can be fully saved.

The good news is that she is eating well. Her blood chemistry is normal. She is young. Her body wants to live.

She now needs hospital care, treatment for her eye, careful grooming, follow-up tests, vaccination, microchipping, and a safe place to recover.

This is not about saving a dying dog. This is about restoring a life that was slowly neglected.

Lulu is gentle. She trusts, even now.

If you would like to stand with her recovery, you can donate below. Every contribution brings her closer to comfort, stability, and eventually, a real home.

Thank you for being here.
