Today’s update brings something we’ve been hoping for since the day we rescued Ringo: signs of real healing. His injury is showing clear improvement. The infection is under control. New, healthy tissue is forming. For the first time, we can say, this looks hopeful.
Thanks to the dedication of our veterinary team and the daily wound care, Ringo’s body is responding. It’s still fragile, still painful, but it’s healing. And in just a few days, we’ll be preparing for reconstructive surgery, a complex plastic surgery procedure to close the massive, gaping wound on his back.
