Yesterday we received a video from the outskirts of Seville. It showed a dog lying helplessly in the shade beneath some trees, unable to move, suffering terribly under the scorching sun. Nothing, absolutely nothing, could have prepared me for what we saw next.
When we arrived, we encountered a scene I’ll never forget. All the skin on his back had been brutally ripped off, exposing muscles and bones—a wound so horrific it seemed impossible he was still breathing. We sedated him immediately and urgently took him to a nearby hospital, where he received emergency treatment to keep him alive. He was severely dehydrated, suffering from acute anemia, a terrible infection, and his wounds were crawling with maggots.
Right now, I’m driving him to Isidor’s clinic. We’ve named him Ringo, and at this moment, his life completely depends on us. On you. This situation goes beyond difficult, beyond urgent—Ringo is fighting for his life, and we desperately need your help.
I know that together we can give him a second chance. Please, help us save Ringo. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes an enormous difference.
Thank you for stepping up and always being there when they need us most.
