What Was Attached to Her Body…

Yesterday, you met Lulu.

You saw the weight she was carrying. The months of neglect. The hair that had become a prison.

Today, we began removing what time did to her.

Before we could even bathe her, we had to carefully clip away the solid mass that had formed around her body. This was not dirt. This was time. Months of being ignored. Months of discomfort. Months of living unseen.

Piece by piece, it came off.

And underneath it… there was a small, fragile dog who suddenly felt lighter.

When she woke up, she looked different. Almost confused. As if she didn’t quite recognize herself. And for the first time in a long time, she could move without carrying that weight.

But this is only the beginning.

Lulu remains at the hospital. She is being monitored. She still needs treatment for her eye. She still needs follow-up care. She still needs time.

Recovery is not a moment. It is a process.

If you would like to stand with Lulu as she continues this journey, please help us today. Your support allows us to provide her hospital care, medication, and the safe recovery she deserves.

She is safe now.

But she cannot do this alone.

Thank you for being here.
