Linda Has No Time Left

Hi,

In a few minutes, Sergio and I are heading to the hospital for Linda’s surgery.

What we’re facing is devastating and completely unexpected. As Jorge explained yesterday, Linda has an aggressive squamous cell carcinoma affecting her lower jaw. Without surgery, she has about a month to live. That is the reality.

The tumour is fast-growing and highly malignant. The only chance she has is radical surgery: removing the entire jaw. There is only one surgeon in the world I trust to do this for one of our dogs. Even then, there are risks. But without surgery, there is no chance at all.

Today is December 30th. Tomorrow the year ends.
If everything goes well, we will celebrate.
If it doesn’t, Linda will be gone.

This organisation does not give up. It’s how we are built.
In every case like this, someone tells me to stop, to let her go.
But the vets tell me there is a real chance for quality of life.
Who am I to deny her that?

We are choosing life because there is still hope.

Many people watch our videos, but a small group of you are the ones who make surgeries like this possible. You keep the animals alive. You keep this organisation alive.

We are going into the hospital now. There will be more updates later.

Please understand this clearly:
Linda has no chance unless we help her.

If you can, please donate.
Help us save Linda.

Now we’re going to the hospital.
