Today I want to share a story that explains why we do this work.
His name is Luca, and when we found him, he was at the very edge: more than a hundred bite wounds, his jaw completely separated, and days without being able to urinate from the pain. He was a dog who, honestly, should not have survived.
But he did.
After a difficult surgery and many days of intensive care, Luca began to stand up again, walk without pain, give kisses, and slowly recover his joy. Watching him change so quickly was one of those moments that remind you every effort is worth it.
I want you to see his story.
I want you to see what happened.
Right now we’re in a difficult situation, and we cannot rescue again until we pay the veterinary bill we’re carrying. If Luca’s story moves you and reminds you of what we can achieve together, your help will make a real difference.
