After Yesterday… I Need to Tell You This

Hi,

Thank you to all who watched yesterday’s video and to those who donated.
As I explained, we are facing a serious crisis: a veterinary bill of nearly fifty thousand dollars.
Until we pay it, we cannot continue rescuing.

This is not due to mismanagement.
It is simply that our cases are not reaching enough people.
YouTube shows our videos to fewer viewers, donations go down, and the bills remain.

This organization is essentially run by two people, Linda and myself.
We rescue only the animals who have no hope, the ones no one else takes.
We have been doing this for more than fifteen years, and our community has been extraordinary.
But many long-time supporters are now retired and cannot donate as before.
So we need new people to join us.

Our veterinary team, Isidor, Juan, and Jorge, are among the best in the world.
They work with us at deep discounts, but they also have their own expenses.
When we cannot pay, it becomes a problem for them too.

Today I want to remind you why this matters by telling you about Frodo.
He arrived looking like a ghost: emaciated, dehydrated, anaemic, shot, unable to walk.
We discovered he had a neurodegenerative condition.
There were moments when we thought he would not make it.
But he wanted to live, so we fought for him.

He lost a leg, but he gained a full life.
He now lives happily with Amparo at the Great House.
He is loved, he is safe, and he is alive because we said yes.

This is what your support creates.

Right now, we cannot accept new rescues.
My phone rings constantly, but we cannot say yes until this bill is covered.
Forty animals depend on us today.
Many will depend on us for life.

We still need forty-one thousand dollars.
Together, we can do it.

Please, if you can, donate today.
Help us pay this bill, reopen our doors, and continue saving lives that have nowhere else to go.
