Hi everyone,
This is Benji, one of the kindest and sweetest dogs we’ve ever rescued. When we found him, he was in terrible shape. His skin was covered with marks from Leishmaniasis, a disease that can affect either the skin or the internal organs.
Benji was lucky. His case only affected the skin. But those marks made people look away. Nobody wanted him.
He has been with us for almost four years now, living at the Great House. He is happy, active, playful, and full of love. A few weeks ago, he had surgery to remove stones from his bladder. Everything went perfectly, and he has recovered completely.
Now Benji is ready for his next chapter. He needs a family.
He may not be perfect, but he is one of the most wonderful dogs you will ever meet. He deserves love, a home, and a chance to belong.
