Frodo Can’t Breathe

Hi everyone, I have an update on Frodo. You remember him, the little fighter who captured so many hearts around the world. When we found him, he was barely alive, emaciated, sick, and shot in one of his legs. We spent months fighting for his life. And against all odds, he made it. He started walking again, eating again, smiling again. Frodo became a symbol of resilience for all of us.

But now things are taking a difficult turn. I haven’t told you this before because I wanted to be sure of what was happening. For the last few weeks, Frodo has been in and out of the hospital. He’s fighting pneumonia.

It started when he vomited, just a small episode at first, but he inhaled and that led to a dangerous infection in his lungs. Since then, he’s been struggling to breathe normally. We treat him, he gets a bit better, and then it comes back. Again and again.

This is what he looks like now.

You know, Frodo has fought too hard to give up now. He’s one of those dogs who teaches us what strength really means, not the absence of pain but the decision to keep fighting despite it.

We’re doing everything possible for him. He’s at the best hospital, surrounded by people who love him, and we will not stop until he’s stable again.

Many of you have been asking about Frodo lately. I know it’s hard to keep up, every day there’s a new rescue, a new story, but Frodo’s story isn’t finished yet.

He needs you again. If you can, please help us continue fighting for him. Your support, no matter how small, keeps him alive and keeps this rescue alive.
