The Police Called Him Aggressive… Look at Him Now!

Kiko is a tiny Chihuahua, barely 2.6 kilos, abandoned in a shoebox and left to die. When we rescued him from the pound, he was in horrific condition: advanced leishmaniasis, badly damaged eyes, swollen painful paws, and a body crawling with fleas.

Now Kiko is at the hospital, fighting for his life. His leishmaniasis levels are more than three times the normal limit. He has begun treatment with Glucantime and Allopurinol, but it is delicate and risky, his kidneys must be monitored constantly. He also needs urgent care for his eyes and X-rays for his shoulder.

And yet, despite everything, Kiko eats with appetite, wags his tail, and shows us every day that he wants to live.

Please donate today to help us save Kiko. Every gift keeps him in treatment and brings him closer to safety.
