Yesterday you saw Alma’s dramatic rescue, people running and shouting. And then you saw what she has on her leg. Today, however, I want you to really see Alma. She is a young dog, and she has been in excruciating pain for months. As far as she knows, pain is normal, humans are the enemy (she has even been shot!) and life is to be tolerated at most. With your help, I want to show her that life is not like that, that life is warmth, regular food and human companionship, that she no longer needs to worry, because we have her! Yesterday, Alma found some support among you, but I believe you only saw what she has on her leg, instead of seeing Alma. She deserves to be seen as the beautiful, long-suffering dog that she is!

Yes, I understand. I’m on a fixed income too. All we can do is give them our prayers. Prayers works wonders. It just makes me mad that there are people out there that can afford to help but don’t. It’s nothing to them to give $10.00 or more. I pray for them.

I have had dogs all my Life, never have I seen a growth on a dog like Alma has. There is no sense in any animal having to suffer with something like that growth on her leg for all of her Life. These are God created animals that he put on this Earth for human beings to love, take care of & not to mistreat or abandon them if they choose to take any animal as a pet. If there is anyway possible, please donate for these loving creatures to get the care thy need in food, medical care or a home for the rest of their lives.
I have been trying to donate to Alma for a half hour but when I “unclick” PayPal and click stripe – credit card, the personal info boxes turn gray and I get a spinning buffering symbol just above the Last Name box that will not stop spinning. So, unless someone wants to pay via PayPal, I am not sure they are able….unless this is just a problem with me. I doubt that, though, because I have been able to donate in the past without problems.

You likely only got, as you said in your video, a handful of donations yesterday because your side would not accept donations, my own included. Still not accepting now, I only get the “Please wait” message and the circle icon which continues to spin. Will try again tomorrow, hopefully it work work then. Would really love to see Alma helped.
I was exasperated by the number of comments left about how badly the rescue was carried out yesterday. But I would ask these people if they have ever tried to rescue a dog that, although in a lot of pain, was determined to never be caught? It is extremely difficult and I felt that the rescuers did quite well under the circumstances. The main thing is they finally managed to get Alma and bring her to the hospital.
As for only a few people donating Viktor, I tried five times, the site was not working. So hopefully those people will do the same as I did and donate today.
Yes the tumor looks awful but maybe with luck it can be removed leaving the leg intact. I am hoping that, with time, Alma will learn that not all people are dangerous and horrible to her kind. With the vets, the nurses and the vet assistants giving her gentle care and strokes maybe she will show not only her brave side, which she is already doing but her loving side because I am sure there is one there. I have my fingers crossed that she has nothing else seriously wrong with her. It looks as though she has had puppies at some time?
