Lucky has been seen again by the eye specialist, and his left eye definitely has some vision! Both of them are improving, so we continue to wait for a third check-up. His eating difficulties led us to sedate him for further study, finding two hard swellings beneath his tongue. They could be another symptom of leishmaniasis, or something more sinister… so we have taken a biopsy. Fingers crossed for Lucky!
And fingers crossed for me, please! Still awaiting test results, but worrying a great deal about the future…
