It was very difficult, but we were hopeful… only to have our hopes shattered. Michael has passed away. He was not alone on the streets. He died in our care, surrounded by people who had known him just a few days but loved and fought with him nonetheless. I am so sorry… goodbye Michael.

You do amazing rescues in the worst of an animal’s darkest of moments. Michael will watch over you forever now. I wish there were more I could do, but I do help animals anywhere that I can (I actuallystopped traffic so that a frightened woodchuck could cross a very busy road the other day). I donated today. I am saddened by this news, but I know he died surrounded by love. Thanks to all who cared for him. He is free to roam pain free and without worry.
Oh my God how terribly sad! God bless you all for making Michaels last days peaceful and loving! Who did this to this precious cat??!! We’re they caught? Oh I pray they were captured and will be in jail for 25 years! If it was up to me, they’d be tortured til death! Those kinds of humans are not human really. They’re pure evil! They don’t deserve to live.
