Abba was rescued two weeks ago. She has spent her entire life in chains, yet what’s truly heartbreaking is recognizing the beauty of her character amidst all her suffering. Abba is loving, playful, and friendly, but during her entire life she has received nothing but abuse and neglect.
When Abba arrived at our hospital, we discovered that her body was riddled with tumors. Today we conducted a CT scan to check for possible metastasis. Thankfully, she is clean, but we are at a crucial juncture. We need to perform surgery to remove those tumors. If we don’t act now, these tumors will eventually be fatal.
