Noa

I have news about Noa!

As you know, Noa had the misfortune of her foster dad’s untimely passing. One of Greig’s friends, a veterinarian herself, decided to take Noa into her home, to join her pack of black German shepherds. Don’t miss this video of our visit… Noa is looking absolutely amazing! What a transformation from the seriously sick dog we rescued from the pound. Keep going, Noa, onwards and upwards… never give up!

Noa gets laser treatment…

Both Noa and our new rescue, Coffee, are having cold laser treatment, Noa for her swollen legs after stepping on what seems to be a thorn, and Coffee to try to recover his leg muscles before surgery on his fracture. He cannot go into surgery until that leg is mobile again. They both take the treatment in their stride… a pair of amazing dogs going through this together!

Oh no! Noa is back at the hospital!

Noa started to limp at the weekend, and it got so bad she wasn’t using her front right leg. Concerned that she might have done some real damage, we rushed her to the hospital. Fortunately, it seems that she has walked on something sharp and the wound has got infected. So she is back at the Great House with antibiotic and antiseptic ointment. Noa, don’t scare us like this again! All is well…

Noa is doing great… her recovery is like a miracle!

Rescued in the nick of time, Noa underwent three life-or-death surgeries in just a few days and survived them all. With her determination to live, she has earned a place in all your hearts. Winston Churchill once said “If you are going through hell, keep going!” Noa must be a fan because that’s exactly what she did. And she came out on the other side… gradually gaining health in the face of adversity. She still has a long way to go but, thanks to your donations, Noa is stepping firmly into the future.
Please donate, help us cover Noa’s ongoing treatment!
