She was terrified… now this dog is looking for a family!

Macarena is a galga, a Spanish greyhound. An extremely elegant dog, she can run like the wind, reaching a speed of 70 miles per hour! But she is also a coach potato. These hunting dogs are largely kept in packs, and Macarena feels happier if she is with another dog, which gives her the security she needs. She is an amazing dog, which will need careful handling, at least until she bonds with her family, and high fences. In exchange for the right environment and loads of love, she will love you unconditionally. Macarena is very young, and would be a marvellous addition to any family! Please share this video. Let’s find her a home today!

Terrified dog pays a visit to the vet!

Macarena has been with us for a couple of months now, and it’s time she was spayed. She is still scared of new people so we had to be super careful with her, but this surgery is essential for all our animals… it had to be done! Ah, and if you want to know how Noa is, please watch the video to the end!

Terrified hunting dog gets her first bath!

Macarena has spent the weekend making friends at the Great House. Coco is teaching her there is nothing to be afraid of, but months of fear do not disappear overnight. Today we gave her a bath, which she really needed. She takes steps forward every day!

This dog was forced to look for food in the garbage to survive!

We had been seeing the dog for weeks, only at night, searching for something to eat in the garbage. We set up a feeding routine, moving a little every day, until we saw the time was right. After 2 long hours and holding our breath, her hunger got the better of her and… zas! Macarena, the dog with the soulful eyes, will be safe for ever more!
