We need to talk…

In my recent video, I shared the critical challenge we at Let’s Adopt are facing. After consolidating our rescue operations by closing one of our shelters – the Pink House – to bring all animals under one roof at the Great House, we’ve encountered an unexpected crisis.

Our unique approach has always been to provide a family-like environment for our animals, away from cages and harsh conditions. But the recent halt in adoptions, especially to the U.S. due to post-COVID regulations, has led to a backlog of animals awaiting homes. This means we can’t rescue new animals for a while, which significantly impacts our funding.

Our organization thrives on continuously saving lives. Each appeal for a specific animal not only aids them but also supports the care of others in our shelter. With the current situation, our ability to fundraise is greatly hindered.

This is where we need your help more than ever. While one-off donations are always appreciated, what truly sustains us are recurring donations. They provide the stable foundation we need to continue our mission. Every donation, no matter how small, contributes significantly to our cause.

We’ve been efficient and dedicated for 16 years, but without consistent support, we’re always on the brink. Please consider becoming a recurrent donor. Your ongoing support will allow us to breathe, improve our facilities, and most importantly, save more lives.

Your commitment makes all the difference. Donate today and be a part of our life-saving mission. Every contribution counts, and together, we can overcome this crisis.

Thank you for standing with us.

I’m sorry, but we’re still waiting for the bill from the vets for Sheriffs disastrous end and all the tests and scans involved. We don’t know how much, but it will be a lot so we can’t donate at the moment. Once we’ve paid our bill, if we have any to give, we will.

  2. It is humbling to watch what you do for these precious animals. God bless you. 🙌
