Noa’s tissue analysis results are in… she has a plasmocytoma! This is a great result… plasmocytomas are usually benign! It could also possibly enable the surgeons to resect a smaller margin. Unfortunately, Noa’s rhinitis has been exacerbated by the anaesthesia she went through to take the biopsy and she constantly has green mucous because of this. It will be difficult to prevent this mucous from touching the surgical site on the side of her mouth. In agreement with her surgeons, we have decided to administer antibiotics for one week before undertaking this surgery. It’s a small delay but an important one!
