After a long discussion with our neurologist, and while managing Mia’s pain with potent analgesics, we have decided to wait a couple of weeks before we re-assess the need for surgery. She is not a young dog and I don’t want to put her through an unnecessary intervention. So, for the meantime, we wait and see… thank you for your help and concern for Mia. I will update when I have more news…
