We’ve called her Joy; she is only four months old and instead of playing happily she is in hospital with a broken leg, receiving Methadone to relieve her pain.
The blow was brutal and left Joy lying in the street in shock. When the police got there, they knelt down and she practically jumped into their arms.
Joy has a spiral-shaped fracture of the tibia. We will need a special plate to solve it.
As well as the fracture, due to the blow, Joy has an enormous haematoma that we are observing to prevent pulmonary complications.
Please watch JOY’s video… you will better understand her condition…
We are controlling her pain with analgesia, but we don’t want to wait too long, to prevent a possible muscle contracture.
P.S. After her surgery, JOY will need a wonderful home. If you believe that your family could give her that home, write to firstname.lastname@example.org and tell me all about you and your animals. Don’t forget to include pictures.
