The little dog appeared on the village square a cold morning right after Christmas FIVE YEARS AGO. Villagers tell us he was kind and friendly, and this is why they allowed him to live there. The neighbours took turns to bring him food, they made a small box for him to spend the cold winter evenings. At night he would like to keep his head outside the box, protecting the square, and his human friends from strangers.
Everything ended yesterday night when a speeding car ran over him, leaving him in shock, gasping for air, unable to move…. At first people thought maybe it would solve on it´s own, but it soon became obvious something was seriously wrong.
Foxy arrived to our hospital at midnight yesterday… in shock, semi-unconscious and dying of pain. The X-rays were clear… Foxy´s hip is badly luxated and HE WILL NEVER WALK AGAIN WITHOUT PAIN … UNLESS HE HAS SURGERY.
PLEASE WATCH HIS RESCUE VIDEO:
FOXY is too unstable to be operated right now, as per protocole are going to wait 48 hours until Foxy is fully stabilized, THEN WE WILL OPERATE HIM AND REPAIR HIS BROKEN HIP.
Once he is completely recovered, Foxy will need a beautiful family and a home so that he never gets to sleep on the streets again. Please write to me on firstname.lastname@example.org if you believe you are that family.
